I am a Multiple Stripes Loop Decorative Pillow, hand-crafted to bring a touch of natural beauty and timeless charm to your home decor.

How I was woven?

I was woven using traditional hand-weaving techniques, ensuring each piece is unique and crafted with care.

How much time did it take?

It took my skilled handweaver 7 hours to create me, due to the intricate and delicate knot designs. Each thread was carefully woven by hand.

My unique Multiple Stripes Loop design is a testament to the dedication and artistry of our weavers. Each motif is crafted by hand, reflecting the care and precision that goes into every piece.

I am made from pure cotton, handwoven to provide a soft, natural feel that is close to nature and gentle on the skin.

My Weaver.

I was woven by Voile's master artisan "Ghani Ud Din".

Ghani Ud Din  (Aged 59) started working as a hand-weaver at the age of 11 in 1974. Along with his father, he ran his family business to support his six siblings. However, he suffered the same fate as other artisans, as the art of hand-weaving began to diminish. Eventually, he had to shut down his business. Ghani Ud Din considers this unique art to be on the verge of extinction. If it disappears, he fears it may never be revived.

Saving the art.

Voile and its master artisans are vigorously working to breathe life into the art of hand-weaving. We hope that by promoting this art to our valuable customers, the next generation of artisans might carry on the tradition. Voile is committed to facilitating this art by supporting our local artisans and their families, exploring rare techniques, and providing an irreplaceable space in the fast-fashion industry.
