The Radiance of “Be” – Inspired by Light
A golden-hued piece that captures the divine command “Kun” (Be) , the very spark that birthed existence. This dress glows with sacred brilliance, symbolizing the celestial moment light first danced across the void. Woven to evoke warmth, hope, and divine presence, it is the beginning of all creation.

What am I?

I am the first flicker of divine command, a 3-piece ensemble of shirt, dupatta, and trouser, touched by golden light. In one second, I became illumination, a vibrant hand-woven Fabric that echoes the moment God said “Be.”

About my fabric.

I was made with 100% fine cotton, making me a breathable fabric.

How I was woven?

I was woven by "Meenedaar" Jacquard technique - a rare process that's almost extinct in Pakistan.

How much time did it take?

It took my weaver 12 hours to weave entire 3Pc Fabric.

About my Unstitched Suit.

My unstitch 3pc has the following yardage

Shirt - 4.5 yards
Trouser - 2.5 yards
Dupatta - 2.75 yards

About my colors.

Do not worry! I will not loose my colors, I am yarn-dyed by OEKO-TEX® certified dyes, which makes me more comfortable and irritation free, which means that I'll never harm your skin.

My Weaver.

 

I was woven by Voile's master artisan "Yusuf"

Yusuf (Aged 59) migrated with his family from India in 1973 and started working alongside his father from the age of 10 in their family-run business, but due to this art vanishing from Pakistan, they couldn’t run their business at a profitable level and thus, ended up shutting down. Yusuf is one of those talented hand-weavers who believe that this art will eventually become extinct in the upcoming generation, hence his children won’t adopt this art and focus on other fields, however he wishes to pass this unique art to them.

Saving the art

Voile and its master artisans are vigorously working to breathe life into the art of hand-weave, we hope that by promoting this art to our valuable customers the next generation of our artisans might carry on the tradition of hand-weave. Voile is committed to facilitating this art by supporting our local artisans and their families in exploring rare techniques and providing an irreplaceable space in the fast fashion industry.

Orders are dispatched the same day if received before 12 pm, else on the next working day. Standard Delivery all over Pakistan within 3-5 working days. A flat shipping fee of Rs. 200 will be applied to all local orders.

Returns for Full Price item(s) only: If you aren’t satisfied with the product(s) purchased at full price, you have 14 days to return/exchange the item(s).
