I am woven in pure combed cotton.
I was woven by the technique of Plain Stripes.
It took my weaver 2 hours per yard to weave.
My pret is created using random multiple threads of different colors to create a unique theme which can't be recreated again.
Do not Worry! I will not loose my colors, I am yarn-dyed by OEKO-TEX® certified dyes, which makes me more comfortable and irritation free, which means that I'll never harm your skin.
I was woven by Voile's master artisan "Shamim"
Shamim brother of 6 siblings migrated from Bangladesh to Pakistan in 1980, with the art of "Banarsi Hand-weave" he continued to work in Karachi city, Shamim had been weaving since he was 8 years old and weaves till date, he is one of those weavers who rejects the idea of promoting this art through his generation, according to him this art is near it's end and like every father he wants his children to succeed financially in life.
