What am I?

I am the Quasar Shawl, a beautifully handwoven piece crafted to bring a touch of elegance and timeless charm to your wardrobe.

How I was woven?

I was meticulously woven using traditional hand-weaving techniques, ensuring each piece is unique and crafted with care.

How much time did it take?

It took my skilled handweaver 4 hours to create me, owing to the intricate weaving patterns that reflect exceptional craftsmanship.

What's Unique about me?

My Black and Grey design is a testament to the artistry of our weavers. The patterns are thoughtfully woven by hand, ensuring a perfect blend of tradition and modern elegance in every thread.

About my Fabric.

I am made from 100% Cotton, offering a soft and comfortable texture that feels gentle on the skin. My handwoven fabric ensures a lightweight, breathable, and natural finish.

My Weaver.

I was woven by Voile's master artisan "Zubair"

Zubair (Aged 64) now living in Karachi migrated from Banaras, India in 1973, and started hand-weave at the age of 11, Zubair is one of the brothers amongst 12 siblings, according to him the art of hand-weave has been passed on to their family through their forefathers. Zubair since the age of 11 had been establishing a family business with his father and brothers to support their family, but due to this art vanishing from Pakistan he had to shut down his business operations, Zubair claims that as this art is dying they wish to pass these unique techniques to their later generations.

Saving the art.

Voile and its master artisans are committed to reviving the art of hand-weaving. By promoting this craft, we aim to inspire future generations to preserve this tradition. Voile continues to support local artisans and their families by exploring rare techniques and offering them a platform in the fast-paced fashion industry.

Orders are dispatched the same day if received before 12 pm, else on the next working day. Standard Delivery all over Pakistan within 3-5 working days. A flat shipping fee of Rs. 200 will be applied to all local orders.

Returns for Full Price item(s) only: If you aren’t satisfied with the product(s) purchased at full price, you have 14 days to return/exchange the item(s). These Item(s) are eligible for e-voucher or exchange if they are received back to our warehouse tagged, unused, and in mint condition. The return/exchange request must be made within 14 days from and including the day you receive the order.
